My plans for the future

On the topic of the future. The next steps that I’m going to be taking for the future at the moment, is to mainly continue my studies in University so I can continue my studies and give myself the best chance I can. For extra experience within the industry, I’m going to be looking for opportunities to give myself that little bit extra. For example, working with the on-campus radio station UCFM, so that I could get some experience and show me how it works and what I would be working with in the future.
Once I finish my University course, I will probably be looking for a few smaller jobs at independent places that I could get a start in or alternatively, I could try and see what could be out in more rural areas for the local radio stations there and see where I could go from there. At the moment, I’m still a bit unsure of what I want to do in the future at the moment. However, I do know that I would rather enjoy working within the broadcasting area of Journalism because to me, I think that it would be something I would enjoy more.

Although, I would be happy with any role and job within the industry and while I believe that written stories are my stronger points, I believe that getting more and experience with multimedia stories will help my flexibility as a Journalist.
